HOW IT WORKS

What happens during a service?

Our engineer will carry out a visual inspection of your solar PV equipment and cabling — for anything mounted at height, this is checked visually from ground level.

They’ll also check your inverter for fault codes, review its performance, and check your monitoring equipment. A full set of electrical tests follows — DC voltage and current, polarity checks, insulation resistance, earth continuity, and verification of your protective devices. Once the service is complete, we’ll send over a signed job report detailing the results of the test and any comments from the engineer.

We check high-level equipment from the ground

For safety, anything mounted at height is inspected visually from ground level, rather than accessed directly. The electrical testing still covers the system fully.

You’ll get a signed report

Friendly and professional engineers. Had a service done and it looks like a slight pressure issue has been resolved along with a noise from the circulation pump! Well happy! Although I think they normally have one engineer for a service, in this case they happened to be together on the day. I'd happily have either one (Ryan or Matt) back if needed regarding my ASHP system.

I’ve hired Blue Flame several times for boilers and plumbing and have always been happy with their work.

Recently they rectified some poor-quality pipework left by a previous builder. Their work was a vast improvement and, during the process, they discovered a cracked sewer pipe the previous builder hadn’t mentioned. By catching this early, Blue Flame saved me from the nightmare of installing a new bathroom only to have to rip it out later to fix a leak.

On one occasion a piece of work had to be redone but I am still happy to give them 5 stars because they took full responsibility and rectified it promptly without any fuss. Also, the staff are consistently knowledgeable, polite and professional. I fully intend to use them for future work.

Excellent service. The receptionist's are extremely polite and helpful. We've started a breakdown cover with them, the Daikin air source heating system was checked and serviced first, Matt the engineer is very knowledgeable and explained everything well. We only ask that you make sure that the installation area is accessible and clear.

It depends whether any faults are discovered, but you can generally expect it to last 1 hour.

The cost depends on several factors including the nature of the problem, as well as the type and age of the AC unit. Our engineers will write up a quote for you before any work happens.

We will book you in for our next available engineer appointment. We will always aim to get to you as soon as we can.

Your engineer inspects the indoor and outdoor units, cleans the outdoor fins, and checks and cleans the filters on all your indoor units, along with the system’s settings and valves.

Our team is available for emergency repairs 24/7, 365 days of the year.
