Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones our website uses and why, and how you can change your choices at any time.

Last updated: 7 October 2026
This Cookie Policy applies to the website operated by Blue Flame (Cornwall) Ltd (“Blue Flame”, “we”, “us”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information more generally.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your computer, phone or tablet when you visit it. They let the website remember things about your visit, such as the choices you have made, and help website owners understand how their site is being used.
Cookies set by the website you are visiting are called “first-party” cookies. Cookies set by another organisation’s service used on that website, such as Google Analytics, are called “third-party” cookies.
How we use cookies
We group the cookies on our website into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary cookies are needed for the website to work, including remembering your cookie choices. They are always on.
- Performance and analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the website, such as which pages are viewed most, so we can improve it. These are only set if you accept them.
- Advertising and targeting cookies help us measure whether our online advertising leads to enquiries. These are only set if you accept them.
When you first visit our website, a banner asks whether you accept these cookies. Until you choose, only strictly necessary cookies are used.
Managing your cookie choices
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, either with the button below or the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page. Changing your choices stops further cookies being set; to remove cookies that have already been set, you can also clear them in your browser.
Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of some websites from working properly. You can find out more at ico.org.uk.

We use Google Consent Mode. If you decline analytics or advertising cookies, Google’s services do not set or read these cookies, but they may still receive basic, cookieless information (for example, that a page was viewed) which cannot be used to identify you.
Website administration cookies
Our website runs on WordPress. If you are a member of our team and log in to manage the website, WordPress sets cookies (wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* and wp-settings-*) to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. These are strictly necessary and are not set for ordinary visitors.
Other third-party services
Our website uses Adobe Fonts to display some of its text. Adobe Fonts does not set cookies, but your browser connects to Adobe’s servers to download the fonts, which means Adobe receives your IP address. You can read more in Adobe’s Fonts privacy information.
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that submissions come from a person rather than an automated bot. It loads from Cloudflare’s servers, which means Cloudflare receives your IP address and some information about your browser. It is needed for the forms to work securely. You can read more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
We show our Trustpilot rating using a Trustpilot widget. The widget does not set cookies on our website, but it loads from Trustpilot’s servers and tells Trustpilot when it has been viewed or clicked, which means Trustpilot receives your IP address. You can read more in Trustpilot’s privacy policy.
Google’s use of data collected through our website is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new service on our website. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. If we make significant changes to the types of cookies we use, we will ask for your consent again.
