Air Conditioning Installation

Comfort, properly installed.

Whether you’re replacing an old, struggling system or fitting air conditioning for the first time, most people say the same thing once it’s done: why didn’t I get this sooner?

HOMEOWNERS AND LANDLORDS

A system that works all year round.

Heating and cooling doesn’t have to be complicated. Our qualified engineers will get your AC system installed properly, from the first site visit to the final walkthrough.

Installation starts with a visit from one of our surveyors. They’ll take measurements, look at the existing system, and discuss your requirements and then send a full quotation within a few days.

How it works

What happens on installation day?

Once your installation’s booked and the kit’s ordered, our lead engineer collects everything and brings it to site. Before any work starts, they’ll walk you through the job talking through pipe runs and where your units will go, and the best place to start.

We’ll lay down floor protection and make the work area safe before drilling and fitting the units. Once the pipework’s made up and fitted, we pressure test it and leave it overnight — this confirms the test is sound before we come back to finish the job.

On our return, we carry out a vacuum charge and test — one of the most important steps, since getting this wrong can cause the unit to fail and lead to costly damage. We’ll set up wifi control where available, then talk you through the controls and test every function before we go.

Air conditioning installation

Good to know before you book

Here are a few things worth knowing ahead of your installation:

We’ll visit before we install

A surveyor will always visit before installation to check your existing system and measurements

A two step installation process

We fit and pressure test on the first visit, then return to complete the vacuum charge and test once we know it’s sound.

A little planning helps

Have a think about where you’d like your units, and move anything that might be in the way. Good communication on the day makes for a smoother job.

Had to call Blue Flame out a week ago to fix a leak we had. We aren't on a service contract so we were delighted that they were able to get an Engineer come out to us that same day. Really happy with the service that Callum G provided. Friendly and thorough. Would recommend 👍🏼. Thanks very much!

This depends on a few variables, but we always aim to get to you as quickly as we can.

After fitting and pressure testing your pipework, we leave it overnight to confirm the test is sound. We then return for the vacuum charge and test, which is one of the most important steps, since getting it wrong can cause the unit to fail.
